SPaTo Document

A SPaTo Document defines all the data needed to visualize a network. One document may contain multiple adjacency/weight matrices but only one set of nodes, i.e., one document may contain multiple networks provided they are all defined on the same nodes. The document files may also provide the tomogram slices (shortest-path trees) and various data such as node properties.

File Format

SPaTo documents are identified by the filename extension .spato and come in two varieties: They can be directories (document packages in Mac OS X) or compressed (ZIP) archives. The internal structure is the same, i.e., one can convert an uncompressed SPaTo document into a compressed one by creating a ZIP archive from the contents of the .spato-directory, and vice versa.
